Emily Drouin is a professional illustrator with over 20 years of experience in comics, children’s books, character and graphic design, specializing in the children’s market. She creates fun, colorful, whimsical art that inspires wonder and learning. Her focus is on children’s books, comics, graphic novels, coloring activity books, games, and branding. She is also skilled in character design, animation, video editing and art instruction.
Emily earned her BA in Graphic Design from Keene State College, studied art at the NH Institute of Art, the Currier Museum of Art Center, interned at Disney, contributed concept art to Netflix Animation and Nickelodeon Studios, as well as won several art awards. She is a member of the National Cartoonists Society, the Society of Children’s Book Writers & Illustrators, and founder/owner of Kids Con New England comic cons that promote art education and literacy through comics, children’s books, workshops and fun activities that inspire creativity and learning.
