Johnny Sampson is a freelance illustrator and cartoonist living in Glen Ellyn, IL. Some noteworthy clients of his include MAD Magazine, the New York Times, Comedy Bang Bang, Inside Amy Schumer, Abrams Books, Chronicle Books, The King Khan and BBQ Show, Action Bronson, and “Weird Al” Yankovic.

Al Jaffee gave Johnny his blessing to take over the MAD Fold-In, which he has been enthusiastically doing since Al’s retirement in 2020.
