Yana Knight is a cartoonist and illustrator whose work is inspired by the ordinary and extraordinary experience of living a life with a playful, humorous and often absurd streak. She is the proud author of an obscure graphic novel “My Story”, an epic tragicomedic tale of a woman who started her life as a horse, as well as its semi-sequel “My Country”, an almost silent low-budget Hollywood comedy and a self-imposed quest to find a possibly non-existent character called the dictator travelling through personalities and identities of four men…

Yana has a history in artificial intelligence which she is currently using to make her cartoons come alive.

She is based in Stockholm, Sweden and Brussels, Belgium where she draws, gardens and teachers others the highly valuable skill of turning their lives into comics.
